Vibration when torque converter locks up

I just bought a '99 4x4 Ram (318 cu. in.) with about 72,000 miles on it (my first Dodge). I've noticed a "shudder" when the torque converter locks up. It's not real bad, just notable. If I give it more gas, the shudder gets slightly worse, until the converter unlocks, then the it smoothes out.
